The Dam at Belton Lake
On behalf of the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, I would like to welcome you to Belton Lake and Dam. Construction on this dam began in 1949 and it was completed in 1954. Located on the Leon River, the dam provides flood control, conserves water, and offers recreation to area residents.
