ENVIRONMENTAL SCAVENGER HUNT


 

Purpose: To improve student's abilities in observation.
To expand the student's understanding of the environment.
Season: All
Materials: Environmental Scavenger List (see below)
TEKS: 2.2B    2.5A
Procedure:
  1. Go over list with students.
  2. Give each student or pair of students a list for the hunt.
  3. Designate a trail for the scavenger hunt.
  4. Look for items while hiking on trail and check off.
  5. At end of hike, check students results.
